Much of my teaching work over the last 20 years has included a strong manual input – what might be called traditional Alexander Technique teaching. During the last 6 or 7 years during my time as head of the AT teaching department at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music I began to develop a style that was more informal, musically direct and at times, more effective than the traditional format for lessons.

Faced with the need to make lessons completely relevant I have  developed a style that quite naturally enables my students to develop musically and healthily at the same time. My aim is to make online lessons very similar to lessons and classes in my studio – and just as personable.

I’m happy to work at all levels, though most of my coaching booked via this site will be aimed at college level students and beyond.

At present I am also working on an online programme for teaching students at all ABRSM grades and I will soon introduce online lessons directly relevant to the exam syllabus. Please return or get in touch to find out more about this project.
